Hudson turned 5 on Easter Sunday- what a day to celebrate! His aunt, uncle & cousins (my sister and her kids) were visiting for the weekend and his grandparents (Trent's parents) and several great aunts & uncles stopped by for a day before heading out on a cruise.
He didn't know Nana & Papaw were coming- what a fun surprise!
Hudson had decided he wanted to play putt putt (thank you Lord for changing his mind from a cowboy party with real cowboy horses!) and have an oreo cake.
Hudson loved having his cousins here to celebrate his birthday and Anna Kate is already saying she wants them at her birthday party. (Erica, it's just a short 13 hour drive :))
Dying Easter eggs
Hudson also learned to ride a bike without training wheels. He was inspired by his cousins riding around on their bikes. It took 2 days and now he wants to ride everywhere! This picture is the day after his birthday when he really mastered it. He'd already changed into his pj's (he insists on sleeping without a shirt), but wanted to get a picture with his daddy who ran behind him for those 2 days until he got the hang of it.
His bike was too heavy and big to ride without training wheels (he can't put his feet down). So, we took the training wheels off of Anna Kate's bike (it's still a little big for her). This pink princess bike is what Hudson is zooming around our neighborhood on. :) He doesn't even seem to notice that it's for a girl.
