Hudson's walking with a little help

We borrowed a push toy from a neighbor and Hudson is loving walking around the house with it! He can't steer, so he often runs into things, but overall he's doing a great job! It's so much fun to watch his new skills. He also started waving a few weeks ago and loves to wave often. He also got his first balloon recently at Trader Joe's (a grocery store). They tied it to his ankle and he loved watching it. I let him crawl around at home for awhile with it tied to his ankle. He would often stop look up and get so excited that it was still there.

Encouragement

I found great encouragement recently through 2 episodes of Extreme Makeover Home Edition & thought it was worthy to share on the blog.

Okay, so I realize that some people might think this is completely hokey that I'm offering encouragement through 2 tv shows. That's okay. Both of these are full tv shows (minus commercials), so they take about 45min to watch. They're both in 5 parts, so when the first part finishes you just click on the next part to continue. I think they are worth it.


Here's some encouragement/commands from I Thessalonians 5:
Be at peace among yourselves. And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

These episdoes seem like a practical way that a whole community is doing what is written in 1 Thess. They are encouraging, helping, and seeking to do a lot of good. You also see rejoicing, sometimes praying and giving thanks in these episodes.

One Fine Day

It was 68 degrees here today! It's actually been nice the last few days, so we have enjoyed lots of time outside. It was such a treat to run in shorts and t-shirts at the park today. After our family run, we took Hudson to the swings again. He now gets excited when he just sees the swing.

Celebrating Life!

Trent, Brianna, Hudson & I went out to dinner last night thanks to a gift card from Trent & Brianna's parents. We all enjoyed a scrumptious dinner at Outback. Thanks Jerry & Vickey!! We had a lovely time.

Happy 10 months little one!

Hudson turned 10 months old yesterday! Boy time flies! After a snowy week, it was a beautiful, warm, sunny day. It was really lovely to see the snow, yet it was so warm. We loaded up the jogging stroller and went running in the park. Afterwards, we took Hudson to the swings. He loved it!
