A Fun Day in the Casto Household

Today was Hudson's first day of preschool and he loved it!

When we asked what his favorite thing from school was, he replied "P.D." (he meant PE). He told us all about how he got to do big jumps & little jumps on a trampoline there.

Also, today is Trent's birthday!

He requested grilled steak & chicken shish kabobs for dinner accompanied by one of his favorite veggies, roasted asparagus, & rice. His birthday "cake" was a peanut butter banana cream pie with chocolate. :)

One of my very best friends from high school, Seema, with her fiance, Patrick and their dog Winnie. They live in NYC and were passing through Vermont while we were there. It was so great to get to spend a little time with them! Thanks for stopping!

Fun with Water

After some hard rain, the kids went and played in the puddles & loved it!

She doesn't know what's coming, but she loved it!

It's so nice to see them play together (in contrast to the seemingly large amount of time they argue over a toy, a piece of trash, really whatever the other one is holding).

Rainbow Pancakes

We made Rainbow Pancakes for dinner the other night and they were a hit. I thought I'd share the link of where I got the idea here. She does a great job showing pictures and directions, so no need to re-post. We chose 3 colors (green, orange & blue) and enjoyed all of them!
